Here are a couple of things you will get from this great racing wheel (it comes with a 1-year limited hardware warranty):

Force Feedback

The force feedback on this wheel is incredibly precise. It accurately reflects all the action taking place in the game. You can feel every inch of the road, every bump, crash, spin and collision. Traction loss, spin outs and loss of car control are amazingly life like. The force feedback can be adjusted if you prefer a less hectic ride.

The Xbox 360 Kinect Review

Kinect? Great! I have read countless reviews on the Xbox 360 Kinect. And the more I read, the closer I was getting to my pre-order. Most of the reviews complained about delays, or space requirement, or that the games were just regurgitated Wii games, and how each of name of the game was never developed.

After reading some of the preliminary assessments, I was intrigued enough that I pre-ordered almost immediately. Being a gadget geek, I ordered this set, despite already a Xbox360. I wanted a bigger hard drive, silence in the new console (!!!!!), and integrated wireless. The new design is pretty sweet too. Overall a great console. I recommend the upgrade.

Unplugged the old Xbox360, plugged in the power supply to the new 360, plugged in the HDMI cable (no more adapter required), plugged in the digital audio cable set the Kinect under my tv, plugged it into the Xbox, turned it on and it's go time. A few minutes of setup was all it took, setting up the wireless connection, entering your Xbox Live info, and a few download updates.

I was playing an adventure game that comes in the box. Wii-like? Yes. Fun? Much! It can track your movements - hands, head, arms, legs, hips, everything - is just incredible. Can detect when a driver moves from side to side or front to back, or crouching or jumping while moving the arm itself.

Many commentators have complained about the delays, which means it takes a bit of time to detect their movements and put them on the screen. Is there a delay? Yes, as measured in fractions of a second. Is it sensible? Yes, but only if specifically focusing on it. But it is not apparent during the actual game, since we are concentrating on the game And as with the Wii, quickly learn to compensate for that split second difference. It is totally irrelevant!

There is an infrared replication of yourself on the screen. The shape of my body was accurate (unfortunately) and has even taken the logo on the shirt I was wearing. There are many exercises you can do and you follow with an instructor. You need to be synchronized with instructor to earn points and advance to higher levels and KINECT did an excellent job following your every move and compare it with the instructor. Not spreading your feet far enough apart? He will tell you. Do not keep the pace? He will tell you. It's so much more intense than anything I played on the Wii and I can now see how your form instead of going to the gym. It is really amazing. KINECT is the future of games.

Don't forget that you get what you pay for, so you may have to pony up a little extra dough to get the BEST. But isn't your game fun worth it? Plus, the peace of mind is worth more than gold.

2. Super Reliable!

What good is buying a great game backup software if it doesn't work, right? No good, that's what. You should do a thorough software review, and be sure to find a game backup software that works, and works every time. Why? Because you never know when you may need it. Look at past software reviewers and users to find out just how reliable (or unreliable) a system may be.

3. Easy to Use! (DUH!)

If it's too hard to use, you won't use it will you? I don't blame you. So be sure the system you are buying will be super easy to use. You have better things to do with your time that fiddle around with settings, or keeping an eye on your new software. It should be keeping an eye on you!

Gamers gripping handheld controls (AFP)

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) – Even though motion-sensing videogame controllers are all the rage, sometimes a player prefers a Batarang for bashing bad guys.

Accessory titan Power A is seeing keen interest in a console controller it designed similar to a throwing weapon in the arsenal of DC Comics crime fighter Batman even though it doesn't hit the market until later this year.

Batarang controllers timed to hit with the release later this year of a sequel to Warner Brothers blockbuster Batman videogame will join a strong-selling array if accessories are created by the US-based firm.

"I don't see videogames ever going to a point where people aren't going to want to pick up a controller and shoot and punch and do things of that nature," Power A divisional vice president of product development John Moore told AFP.

"I don't think they are going away... They are here to stay."

Nintendo is credited with opening the world of videogames to moms, seniors and other "casual gamers" with the launch of the Wii console in 2006.

Microsoft built on the trend last year by adding gesture and voice controls to Xbox 360 consoles with Kinect, and Sony released a motion-sensing Move accessory for PlayStation 3 (PS3).

Motion controls are a hit, with millions of Kinect and Move devices being snapped up by a broadening audience of gamers.

Many of those "casual" players will be lured to titles calling for toggles, buttons and other features on traditional controllers, according to Moore.

"Kinect is awesome because it brought people into gaming who wouldn't necessarily consider gaming before," Moore said.

"But I think people are always going to want to have controller that they can kick back and play... Not everyone wants to get up and jump around and dance."

And as consoles get more sophisticated, and multi-player games more popular, the number of people playing simultaneously should climb -- driving up the demand for controllers.

With tens of millions of consoles in homes around the world, the market for replacement, spare or vanity controllers is enticing for makers of videogame accessories.

"The controller market is absolutely huge," Moore said.

Power A makes miniature controllers; versions of the gadgets based on Lego videogames, and even models with built in fans to cool hands grown hot from hours of playing intense shooter titles such as "Call of Duty."

The Batarang controller sprang from a relationship with Warner Brothers, and Moore's love of the first Batman videogame, which he admitted to playing through several times.

Washington state-based Power A was among myriad accessory makers showing off new creations and forming alliances at a recent Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

Plantronics and Turtle Beach were in the ranks of companies that showcased headsets that immerse players in rich sound while allowing them to chat with opponents or allies in online games.

Turtle Beach billed its new Ear Force PX5 model priced at $250 as the most advanced headset for Xbox 360 or PS3 consoles.

Accessories ranged from giant screens and wireless steering wheel controllers to cables for quickly routing massive amounts of game data and wall-mounted racks for organizing gear.

Sega says 1.3 million users affected by cyber attack (Reuters)

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese video game developer Sega Corp said on Sunday that information belonging to 1.3 million customers has been stolen from its database, the latest in a rash of global cyber attacks against video game companies.

Names, birth dates, e-mail addresses and encrypted passwords of users of Sega Pass online network members had been compromised, Sega said in a statement, though payment data such as credit card numbers was safe. Sega Pass had been shut down.

"We are deeply sorry for causing trouble to our customers. We want to work on strengthening security," said Yoko Nagasawa, a Sega spokeswoman, adding it is unclear when the firm would restart Sega Pass.

The attack against Sega, a division of Sega Sammy Holdings that makes game software such as Sonic the Hedgehog as well as slot machines, follows other recent significant breaches including Citigroup, which said over 360,000 accounts were hit in May, and the International Monetary Fund.

The drama surrounding the recent round of video game breaches paled compared to what PlayStation maker Sony Corp experienced following two high-profile attacks that surfaced in April.

Those breaches led to the theft of account data for more than 100 million customers, making it the largest ever hacking of data outside the financial services industry.

Sega Europe, a division of Sega that runs the Sega Pass network, immediately notified Sega and the network customers after it found out about the breach on Thursday, Nagasawa said.

Lulz Security, a group of hackers that has launched cyber attacks against other video game companies including Nintendo, has unexpectedly offered to track down and punish the hackers who broke into Sega's database.

LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean Review

Oh come on now, why are you here? What's the point in me writing any of this down, it's about a LEGO game. You know you're going to like it, it's in your veins. Ever since the dawn of mankind, our DNA has been harboured to hunt, mate and slay Sticklebrick aficionados. Traveller's Tales have been using this instinct for years now, developing plastic based parodies that are as bright and addictive as Starburst cocaine. Still, it's a format that keeps many excited at the prospects of what favourite film franchise could be coated in chokeable hazards, and this time, it's the turn of LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean.

LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean suitably focuses on all four films in the franchise and recreates them in blocky detail, and is possibly the most true representation of a franchise to date. In some cases, cut scenes replicate the films' shot for shot with their own cheeky charm to boot. The parody is ripe throughout and is sure to tickle the funny bone of young and old alike with slapstick charm and clever wit. Traveller's Tales melds the two together very well, helpful seeing as the humour of both franchises practically go together hand in hand like they were meant for each other, albeit all the rum's gone and been replaced by tea.

Nothing much has truly changed. The simplicity of all the LEGO games that enticed kids and adults alike remains ever present throughout, and the basic platforming and puzzle solving mechanics are as enjoyable as ever. However, if feels as though there have been missed opportunities with the swashbuckling topping. Combat still only relies on bashing one button, and not a lot else. Could there not have been some form of dueling mini-game in keeping with the theme? The constant square bashing is heavily shielded by the laurels of 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it', but after so many LEGO games making the creative team 21st Century experts in platforming, it surely can't hurt to spice up the formula of combat a bit.

Your allies are equipped with different means to fight off treasure hunters, but it all relies on the same button bashing formula. Thankfully, should you be playing alone (and if you only play online, then you'll have no choice), the ally A.I. has been improved to near perfection to aid you in co-operative puzzles and dare not hinder your progress. Some slight issues kick in, however, with swapping to different members of your crew. Your party can now extend from the traditional two, but attempting to quickly swap between the cast in your roster often results in selecting the wrong character. You can halt and select from a character wheel to be more specific, but do this within mid-battle and you will die and lose some of your hard earned treasure. With infinite lives, this is only a small complaint, but slightly frustrating nonetheless.

Still ridiculously addictive, brilliantly fun and unexpectedly laugh out loud funny on occasions

Each level is littered with collectibles and treasure to unearth from demolishing the property of the innocent. Tons of hidden prizes nestling away in the oddest nooks and crannies have practically as much of a staple of the series as the light hearted parody and cutesy presentation, yet there's a stronger emphasis on treasure this time around, and rightly so. Jack Sparrow roams the levels with his trusty compass, opening up a mini-game that spans across levels in order for you to search for buried treasure...and trash. Uncovering LEGO fragments to build can lead to you gaining even more in the way of 'Studs' the game currency, or more importantly pieces of Minikits, allowing you to build several ships in bottles for a lovely decorative effect in your port.

Your port is a reflection of your success in pillaging, and acts as your main HUB throughout the films. Should scavenging through means of aesthetic pleasure not be to your tastes, the main reasons for completing quests and hoarding figurines is for gold bricks, the key to unlocking more levels, more characters and more sections of the port to explore. Everywhere you turn, you're being graciously awarded for simply playing, and once you begin unlocking things, it can become incredibly hard to stop.

It's pretty clear that Disney have shoved their influence in by their wallet with the improved graphics. Everything has been given a cinematic filter and there's a heavier emphasis on the character animations to truly outline their unique traits. Jack Sparrow's nigh on drunken flailing never fails to amuse whilst darting around levels and the slapstick animations never fail to amuse. Even the slight grunts from Sparrow and Will seem to replicate that of Depp and Bloom's eerily well. Alongside the pitch perfect soundtrack throughout the game, and you've got more of a remake than a parody.

So, although it employs basically the same tactics as every other LEGO parody under the sun, LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean is still ridiculously addictive, brilliantly fun and unexpectedly laugh out loud funny on occasions. There are mild frustrations which kick in every so often, but in no way hinder any enjoyment and the cons that have been mentioned in so many LEGO games before hand such as poor A.I. have finally been fixed. Experts in the field of LEGO platforming will probably find this a short voyage and manage to blitz through the Gold Bricks it has to offer, but enjoyable nonetheless. Whether you'd be a fan of the films or fan of the games as a whole, this is a greater video game spin-off than any of the actual fleshy cash-ins.

Backup Games - Why Are They So Important?

The latest video game disc is in your hot little hand, and you can't wait to slip it in to your console and start the game. But STOP! You have to do something else first off. Burn a backup game.

Why? Well, here are a number of good reasons.

First, think about the way most people treat their discs. They are left lying around, they get trodden on, chewed on by the dog, spilt on and generally mistreated. This is because these little plastic discs seem to be very tolerant and still keep playing. The music ones, at least.

Unfortunately games discs are more sensitive. By the time you see the unwelcome DISC ERROR message the damage has been done. This is the primary reason for making a backup game immediately you buy the CD, when it is still in pristine condition.

Then consider the cost of video games. These days they are quite pricey. If you spoil the disc you will need to splash out on a replacement. Unless you have already made a backup, of course.

And what if you, like many of us, tend to lose or misplace CDs? Those little discs can manage to disappear in any room like magic. No problem, if you have made a backup game.

So we are agreed, hopefully, that a backup game is a good idea. It helps to keep in mind, also, some good basic practices when using any games copying software for backing up your CDs.

Most importantly, remember that you may make copies of any disc that you own, but it is against the law to make a copy of one belonging to someone else. This is a good rule. Games designers, like the rest of us, have to pay their way in the world - their talents deserve to be rewarded, not diluted by borrowing and copying discs without paying for them.

It is also good practice to make a copy to your hard drive first, if possible, before burning the copy to disc. This helps to reduce transcription errors.

Lastly try to find the optimum reading speed, beginning with 1x up to perhaps a maximum of 8x. This might take a few more minutes but will ensure that images are read correctly from the CD-Reader.

In all honesty, taking the few minutes - typically only two or three - needed to make a backup copy of that new game is well worthwhile. It can save you money, save time searching for that lost game CD, and lets you concentrate on enjoying the game without worrying about those horrible error messages.

And now there is some very good games copying software available to do the job quickly and easily, with a dash of fun thrown in and without all the technical jargon common to earlier versions.

Playing on Minecraft Servers Fixes Dull Game

Minecraft has been known to be addicting. Minecraft rewards block dexterity in the best ways. When playing Minecraft you have a feeling of living through an inhospitable land. You wind up not just surviving, but doing well and casting works of art. Minecraft possesses an uncommon type of built-in level progression that makes you feel accomplished. The more you mine the more resources you own and the better looking your creations.

The game's in beta and still is not flawless yet. As of right now, there's really no which can really kill the fun. And because there aren't Non-Player Characters it can get very lame and make it clear how barren the Minecraft land is. Your sense of epicness in this grand and never-ending land dies when all the landscape starts to look repetitive.

Gaming within Minecraft servers do, however, cure most of these ailments. Goals are created by other Minecraft online players. Online gamers are a great source of endless content. You'll now have people to show off your sculptures to, and the surrounding territory would be much more diverse because it's 100% player created. You can come across unique towns, sculptures, and mazes in your expeditions.

But there are enormous setbacks with locating an online server that's good for you. You maybe want PVP enabled, you maybe want a more creative world to game in. You maybe need a RP server, you maybe want to live in an anarchy with no laws or you might want civilization. If the rules aren't tough enough you can wind up with unneeded griefers, murderers, and thieves. If the laws are too tough you might feel a loss of control, the inability to craft where you want, and it's only fun for those with power.

There are many server websites online however the majority are not good enough, and don't meet my needs. There's a lot of voter based spamming, which turns the entire site into a popularity contest with no indication of if a server's a good fit for YOU. I was looking in a server site recently which used the exact same description for each of their listings so they can reach #1 on search engines quickly by having many low content posts. A lot more of these directories are also biased, giving praise to only those websites who are willing and able to pay and no recognition to all else.

Pick your server with care, make sure it meets all of your wants, or else you'll be forever doomed to server-hop, over time getting frustrated and forgetting about the awesome opportunities that multiplayer can bring you.

If you want to use a good, honest Minecraft servers database and review site, try out http://www.minecraftserversinfo.com/ We're small but we're growing rapidly and adding new content every day.

Madden 11 Tips To Help You Play The Game

So you have gone and got your hands on the game Madden 11, and are ready to play it on your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and are looking for a couple of Madden 11 tips to help get you going. Well look no further, because whether you are new to the game, or just this version of it, there are few things that may help get you going.

Of all American Football or Gridiron video games, there is no doubt that the Madden series from EA is the most popular, and because of this Madden 11 has an absolutely giant online community. However before you rush out and sign in to play a few games online, remember that no one takes it lightly on the new guy. Make sure to get some good practice in before you try the online modes, and there are many offline modes to do this in.

Of all Madden 11 tips you may hear repeatedly, the one to remember is to defense, defense, defense. Just like in real life, it really should be the number one priority when getting a hang of the game. It may not be as exciting as the attacking plays, but stopping your opponent from scoring is half the way to winning the game.

Cover 3 defensive options are the best to look at when you are defending against a team who loves to pass the ball. Watch his play carefully and you will see where he likes to pass to, and try to find the right one for each zone. You will see that in the plays the different colors cover the different areas, for example the blue Cover 3 plays cover the shorter pass options, the purple the corners, etc.

If he is trying pass those long throws, go for Cover 4 options, and use Cover 2 if he is trying to go very short. You will always need to watch a team's tactics and try and adapt to whatever they are doing. On a third down, when passing teams look to go longer, the Cover 4 works well again.

When it comes to using Man Coverage, use it sparingly. Though many teams in real life favor it, it can be very dangerous, as one mistake will mean a playing breaking away. However if you want to use a heavy blitz, it can work well.

Defending against running teams might mean the occasional man blitz, but the best plays to try would probably be the Cover 2 and Cover 3 options. When you are trying to run it out of the Zone Blitz, the Engage Eight tactic can be very useful.

The best attacking Madden 11 tips you will get are to play to your team's strengths, and not to let go of the ball. While most armchair coaches love the idea of the long passing game, in truth the running game remains more effective, keeping the long passes as a surprise weapon, rather than possibly throwing the ball away every move. If you do have fast players, the HB tosses, HB stretches or HB draws are good movies to try. With the HB draw, if you slide Protection to Aggressive, you can open up space and gain a few yards many times.

So pick you favorite side, get in some practice, and with these Madden 11 tips, get going. Hopefully they will help you get on the right track to becoming a winning side.

Get inside info on a few quick Madden 11 tips for those just starting out now in our complete guide to all you need to know about top PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 games on http://madden-tournaments.com/

World of Warcraft Paladin Guide: An Overview of One of WoW's Hybrid Classes

Some classes In World of Warcraft join the main features of other classes together. These classes are known as the hybrid classes, of which the Paladin is part of this category. Because the Paladin has the characteristics of many characters, they might not be as proficient in one certain skill than a class that focuses in it, but with a lot of practice, a Paladin can be rather valuable because of its diversity. The Warcraft Paladin guide provides an overview of how group and solo plays can benefit by having such a versatile character.

One skill this Warcraft Paladin Guide addresses is auras. Auras are the buffs the Paladin gives to raid or party members in her or his surrounding area. These increase others' skills. Blessings are an additional tool the Paladin has that can be given to individual targets to enhance their combat skills. Most of the blessings effect lasts ten minutes.

Another really good benefit that the Warcraft Paladin Guide discusses is the Paladin's armor. Paladins can equip Plate Armor, which significantly increases their value in combat. Not only do they give auras and blessings in battle, they can also take some pretty heavy hits due to the armor. The Paladin are predominantly known as a defensive class due to their healing, damage and buffing resistance. They also can use two-handed weapons, stun enemies, and eliminate Undead and Demons.

Players should know that Paladins do need a lot of mana because of their defensive and offensive demands. They do not have range abilities which causes them to need heavy armor. They are not effective at drawing attacks.

The Paladin can use Maces, Axes and Swords as weapons, all of which can be one handed or two handed. The Polearm can be added to the list of weapons the Paladin can use if they are trained to use it. The Blood Elf race begins with Sword specializations.

*Just like the other classes, Paladins are given new abilities and spells in the Cataclysm expansion. At Level 81, Blinding Shield is available. Blinding Shield creates damage and blindness to targets in the area. It needs a shield and a two second base cast time.

At Level 83, the Healing Hands spell is acquired. It works similar to a Healing Stream Totem and lasts for six seconds. There is a 15 second cooldown after it is used.

Level 85 has Guardian of Ancient Kings which has a different purpose depending on which talent tree the player has selected. Holy Paladins may restore back to health even the gravest injured ally.

Protection Paladins have the Guardian absorb damage, and the Retribution Paladin have the Guardian deal out damage. There is a 15 second cooldown with a six second duration.

The defensive skills of Paladins has been to some extent reduced in Cataclysm to encourage players to use Retribution Paladins. Battlegrounds are a spotlight in Cataclysm due to the healthy Player vs. Player rewards, and the Retribution Paladins are effective there.

The damage dealing classes gear will be enhance in Cataclysm, so the Vengeance mechanic has been added to the Paladin so that they are not unjustly outgained. It supplies stacking attack power buffs of 5 percent of damage dealt up to a maximum of 10 percent for those who have deposited 51 talent points into the Protection tree.

Gold Farming In Cataclysm With A WoW Gold Guide - Pros And Cons

What's your gold situation in World of Warcraft? Do you have 310% flying speed on all your characters? Do you have super mounts like Vial of the Sands or Mekgineer's Chopper, or super epic gear like Claws of Agony or Claws of Torment? If not, you need to learn a thing or two about gold farming in Cataclysm.

No worries. You don't have to do that by yourself, there's always a helper if you know where to look. For example, I've been working with a WoW gold guide.

Therefore, in this report, I will present a few pros and cons about gold farming in Cataclysm using a WoW gold Guide.

Pros

1. You will become a skilled Auction House broker. Making money exclusively at the Auction House is the main gold making method of almost every elite player. However, if you don't know what's best to invest in, there's a high chance you will lose your investment or make only insignificant profits. Working with a WoW gold guide I've learned how to conduct a complete and solid AH research, reduce the risks to minimum and maximize the profits.

2. You will learn about the best farming spots in the game. Although going out on the field to gather resources, kill mobs for their hides or their loot is not my thing, I have to admit, I really had no idea about the spots presented in the guide I've been working with. Therefore, gold farming in Cataclysm using a tool like this fits to players that don't like Auction House as well.

3. You will learn the best combination of addons. Working with the right addons, you can only take your character to maximum effectiveness. Without addons, you will always be average in PvP, PvE, making money or any other piece of WoW content.

4. You will learn how to make gold while leveling up. Many players whine that they don't have enough to buy their mounts while leveling up. Believe it or not, I've learned quite a few tricks that allowed me to stack about 20k gold just while raising a character, so I had plenty for my riding skills.

5. Lastly, I got quite a few free updates until now. It would really suck for someone to get a guide that doesn't provide updates.

Cons

There aren't many cons that worth to mention here. Anyway, here's what some players may not like:

1. Didn't get an in-game version of the guide I've been working with. At least not yet.

2. To make high profits at the Auction House, you must rely on quite a few addons. I really don't mind that, but there are players that like their UI clean, and don't like to use any addon. So, for them this can be considered a downside.

Conclusion:

Gold farming in Cataclysm with a WoW gold guide is quite a profitable idea. At least, it worked for me. I managed to get my Vial of the Sands in less than a week.

Therefore, if you want the best gold farming in Cataclysm and to amass serious amount of gold on with any character, the best tool to work with is a guide.

Game Review of Papa's Pizzeria

Papa's Pizzeria is yet another time management game, but here instead of managing farms or hotels like countless other games, you get to run a pizzeria. It's basically the same format, but in a different setting. You take orders from customers, and then top, cook, and cut pizza based on the order specifications. You do this by clicking on the various pizza stations.

You start off at the order station where you can see the customers and take their orders. Every order has the topping ingredients, cooking time, and cutting style the customer prefers.

Once you receive the order, you go on to the topping station and start topping the pizza. Since the controls in this game are all mouse based, you top by clicking and dragging ingredients on to the pizza. You can rearrange the ingredients even after they are on the pizza, so rearrange if you think the ingredients look messy. How well they are arranged will affect the final score.

Next, the pizza will travel to the baking station to be baked. On some orders where longer baking times are specified, the game can get boring while you wait for the pizza to finish baking. However, this is only really a problem earlier on in the game when there aren't that many customers, and later on when more start coming and waiting, longer baking times can be helpful, since they give you more time to deal with them.

When the pizza is done baking, it goes on to the cutting station to get sliced. Insure an order ticket appears on the right before you proceed, since if there is no ticket you won't be able to finish the order, and your only option would be to throw away the pizza. That would be bad, and can unfortunately happen. If there is no ticket on the right, you need to drag the appropriate order ticket (from the stack of tickets at the top of the game) to the right and then you will be able to finish the order by clicking the "finish order" button.

Once the pizza is done and presented to the customer, the game will grade how well you followed the order. If the toppings are sloppy or the pizza was cut haphazardly, you will be penalized and will receive a lower tip.

Throughout the game you continue taking orders and try to please customers. If costumers are pleased, they become repeat customers and will help you get more tips.

As mentioned, all the controls in this game are mouse based. While the controls work for the most part, a better interface for managing order tickets would of been helpful. Many times in the game it gets difficult to see and manage multiple order tickets. As a result, many times a pizza can mistakenly be sent with the wrong order.

That's basically the game play. However, the game gets more difficult and challenging as it progresses. The difficulty is ramped up by having you manage multiple customers that demand elaborate pizzas that have many toppings and weird slices. While the game gets harder, it unfortunately can sometimes start feeling a bit repetitive since your essentially doing the same thing over and over again.

Papas Pizzeria is one of many free really fun games available online

Coming Soon - Angry Birds: Mine and Dine

Helsinki, Finland-based Rovio Mobile, the makers of the gaming app phenomenon, known as Angry Birds, have announced their newest update for the franchise, called Mine and Dine. The premise of this episode has the evil pigs stealing more eggs and going underground, in hopes of making off with their bounty. The birds are a little more than pissed off and are completely hellbent on crushing the evil green pigs and taking back their beloved eggs.

As is the case with all episodes of Angry Birds, the Mine and Dine series of levels will feature new props and costumes, including pickaxes, miner helmets, loose boulders, wooden beams, red jewels and new twists for various stages of the game. According to Rovio's Twitter feed (@RovioMobile), this edition has been submitted to the Apple App Store. One would think that it would be just a matter of a few weeks before it launches, due to the meteoric popularity of the game, but that's the magic and allure of Apple. They beat to their own drum and do (or don't do) whatever they feel is necessary to bring revenue to their company and promote their brand.

The funny coincidence about Rovio's announcement is that they began their intial buzz for Angry Birds: Mine and Dine, the same day that Steve Jobs gave a keynote speech at the WWDC 2011 conference, introducing the Apple iCloud platform. The Mine and Dine chapter will be a continuation of the Angry Birds franchise and not a Angry Birds: Seasons addition, as some have reported.

Something of interest will be Rovio Mobile's continuation and development of all Angry Birds versions. Keeping updated with one game is hard enough, but to repeatedly update all versions is a major feat. Angry Birds, Angry Birds: Seasons, Angry Birds Rio are the three main games, associated with the franchise. There are also other versions of the game like Angry Birds Magic, which incorporates NFC Technology with Nokia C7 smartphones and Angry Birds Chrome, which is available for free via the Google Chrome web browser.

The ability of their developers to constantly evolve and change the intricacies of the game have been an education, as well as fun to watch. Rovio are the pioneers of social application marketing and promotion and continue to impress and evolve, as time goes by. Several factors that have been essential to the game's popularity.

One example would be the usage of bonus levels. If you own a Nokia C7 phone and you "tap" it with another C7 owner, the game will unlock 5 new bonus levels. Every time you tap with a new user, 5 more levels unlock. Another example could be Rovio's usage of different themes, such as setting the game in Rio de Janeiro (Angry Birds Rio) or using popular holiday motifs (Angry Birds: Seasons). A third textbook example lies in their slow rollout of new gadgets and props such as dynamite, pickaxes, hard hats or army helmets. At the end of the day, any of the Angry Birds games are fun for the entire family and enjoyable for any age group. It's going to be interesting to see how they continue to grow this brand and continue to find ways of keeping it relevant.

Play BMX Games

Since the late 70s, BMX bike riding is no longer an underground movement. By the first X-Games tournament in 1995, BMX has become an iconic youth culture phenomenon with plenty of skate parks in its wake. Classic stunt legends such as Ryan Nyquist, Dave Mirra, and Matt Hoffman have left impressionable young audiences awestruck with their live performances. These pros endorsed what would later become the niche market for young bicycle video gamers of today, who play BMX games to emulate the same stunt maneuvers as these hailed pros. The video game industry has responded to BMX fans with an outstanding number of bike games. There are plenty of successful video games to choose from, such as Matt Hoffman Pro BMX 2 for Xbox, and Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 3 for the Game Boy Advanced.

It is fairly important to recognize the impact cycling icons like Matt Hoffman and Dave Mirra have on the industry, and why these games attract children who are both casual and hardcore gamers alike. Firstly, traditional racing games require too much focus on reaching a goal in an allotted period of time. It can be difficult for people, especially the inexperienced, to increase their skills and explore hidden features with the little time a race provides. A BMX game on the other hand often utilizes a Freeride mode, which allows inexperienced gamers to practice and increase their level of skill without a time limit, and explore the playing field for fun. Take Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 on the Play Station 2 for example.

However, the other practical reason why BMX games are so endearing is that the rules are simple to understand. This is because BMX games are typically based off of the classic pro bicycling tournaments. Due to simplicity, these games usually do not require endless hours of consistent day to day commitment like other games on the market, which are designed only for the hardcore gamer. Though despite being basic, BMX games provide enough challenges for both novice and experienced gamers, with a variety of difficulty levels to choose from. Especially in Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, where players can use a park editor to create their own skate parks for endless possibilities that offers difficulty that the player directly decides. Something that cannot be said for many sports games of other genres.

If you are going to play games, definitely consider buying a bike game, and add a BMX game to your collection. Go to your local video game retailers and play today! If you are looking for the perfect gift for your loved ones and they love to play games, Matt Hoffman's example is an excellent choice for a gift, especially if they enjoy bike games or sports. With the growing trend of people who like to play games, people who choose to play bmx games has become a mainstream pastime, accrediting bike games as a reliable source of entertainment.

Kinect bringing interactive ads to Xbox 360 (AFP)

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) – Microsoft announced Tuesday it will bring interactive ads to Xbox360 consoles using the voice- and gesture-recognizing capabilities of Kinect controllers.

The US technology titan unveiled "NUads" technology that it heralded as the future of television advertising.

"I believe that the Kinect platform, and NUads, will unlock the incredible potential of interactive TV, and interactive TV advertising," Microsoft advertising business group general manager Mark Kroese said in a blog post.

Microsoft has been beefing up film and television show content at its Xbox Live service that consoles connect with using the Internet.

Kinect controllers allow people to tell a console to post a video ad in a Twitter update or ask it for more information about a product.

Viewers can use waves of hands to share opinions in polls or send material to themselves by email.

"Simply put, NUads break down the barriers between consumers and content on the TV screen," Kroese said.

"NUads make traditional linear content -- like a 30-second TV spot -- irresistibly interactive," he continued.

Early in June, Microsoft added YouTube, voice commands, television shows and more to Xbox 360 with Kinect as the hot-selling videogame console matures into an entertainment center for all.

Microsoft ramped up voice capabilities in Kinect to allow Xbox users not only to give commands to in-game characters but also to speak Bing searches for games, movies, television shows, music and other entertainment content.

Microsoft has sold more than 10 million of the gesture-sensing Kinect accessories for the Xbox 360 worldwide since they hit the market in November.

Kinect uses a 3D camera and motion recognition software to let people play videogames on the Xbox 360 using natural body movements and voice commands instead of hand-held controllers.

Microsoft has expressed a vision of Kinect moving beyond the living room to medical centers, schools and other places where technology to track skeletal movement and recognize voices could be useful.

Gran Turismo 5 Review

Gran Turismo 5 or GT5, is one of the most anticipated games of the year but did it really live up to this expectation?

Personally, I think it has lived up to its name and more, with mouth-watering graphics and immense driving simulation that could make you pass your driving test, it is a speed freaks dream. From bombing down a 3 mile road at 250 mph to hurling yourself round acute turns in a lightweight go-kart, every age group is catered for. Saying that, the exhilaration of each race might just tip an eighty year old over the edge or even make a two year old want to do a few laps around the living room.

Gameplay

Lets get started on the gameplay. Whether you are getting your MOT at your local garage, or changing your oil in your latest Bugatti Veyron, you can do everything you can do in a real garage on GT5. With detailed animations of garage workers mending your car and with the option to browse and buy a massive selection of second hand cars for bargain prices, every spendable point you earn will feel as rewarding as the last. For example, in the dealership you can buy a brand new Audi A4 for around £50,000 but in the second hand dealership you can buy the same car for around £20,000. The only difference is the mileage and maybe the chipped paint, but you will find yourself taking advantage of the reduced prices far more than the high first hand ones.

There is far more to the game than buying cars, with a-spec and b-spec options this game will take a long time to complete. A-spec mode is the traditional dog eat dog lap race in which you have full control. However, a highly controversial feature is the b-spec mode, where you control a CPU controlled driver, giving orders and commands, but ultimately you sit back and watch an unrealistically bad driver ruin your perfect 100% win record. Although you can rank up the brainless driver, he never compares to the human holding the controller. The majority of the features I have mentioned are predominately in the GT mode which is not all you can do on the near perfect game.

Game Modes

The game modes include GT mode, arcade, online and 2 player. Although you might play with your friends in 2 player or online modes, I am convinced that a large bulk of your time on the game will be spent trying to get the best cars and drivers in GT mode. There is not much else to be said about the other game modes as they are pretty self explanatory.

Final thoughts

Ultimately, I feel that Gran Turismo 5 satisfies every element that is required for a driving game of this stature. In comparison to Need For Speed, its main competitor, GT5 exceeds it in nearly every way. For example, the graphics are far more realistic than those of NFS as they express every curve and every mark, scratch or dent of each individual car. As for the environment, I think that NFS and GT5 are on par together which doesn't have a great impact as you do not really buy a racing game for the blurred environment surrounding the cars as you whiz past at 200 mph. In NFS, it is clear that EA have put more effort into a storyline rather than GT5's emphasis on the aspect of real life that they have incorporated.

My Rating

GT5's quality makes it very easy for me to rate it, from graphics to gameplay to the immense re-playability factor it deserves a 10/10.

RPG Games 2011

In the past, RPG games were nothing more than a PC gamer's kind of thing. Back in the 1990s, many Amiga and PC gamers loved playing the genre. Arguably, one of the best RPG games to come out at the time was a game called Eye of the Beholder. It may not be the most famous role playing game of all time but it has gotten a cult following over the years.

As popular as the game was, casual gamers were not warmed into the genre yet. It was considered to be "too nerdy" for the cool kids who were playing the likes of Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat.

It wasn't until the release of Final Fantasy VII in 1997 that the RPG genre was introduced in a huge way and was considered to be "cool" to a wider audience.

RPGs thrived from then on but have taken a back seat to recently to the FPS genre. Thanks to the popularity of the Call of Duty franchise, the FPS has become the most widely known and popular gaming genre in 2011. That's not to say there that the RPG genre is dead in 2011 as a number of games have been and will be released this year.

One of the genre's biggest releases this year has been the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. Xbox 360 and PC gamers were lucky as the Mass Effect franchise was only exclusive to their respective platforms. That was until in January 2011 that the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 hit the PS3 in a big way. PS3 owners were delighted to know they had the superior version of the game since it came a few more extras and better graphics. Mass Effect and RPG fans can look forward to the release ofMass Effect 3 later this year.

The other major game released thus far in 2011 was Dragon Age II. Much like Mass Effect, the Dragon Age franchise is also created and developed by BioWare. PC gamers may have the best RPG games in 2011 as the long awaited Diablo 3 hits later this year. The much loved Torchlight made its debut on the Xbox 360 earlier this year too. It was previously a PC exclusive but now Xbox 360 owners can enjoy this action-rpg by downloading it via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Japanese RPG fans should look forward to the release of Final Fantasy XIII-2. This is a direct sequel to the 2010's Final Fantasy XIII. Fans who were disappointed with Final Fantasy XIII will be happy to know that Square Enix is looking to improve the gameplay with this sequel. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is expected to be released late 2011.

The great thing about 2011 is how much technology has grown over the years. A of RPG games can now be enjoyed for free as internet browser games. One of my favorites released recently are the Super Stick RPG games. They play similarly to many role playing games like Final Fantasy and come complete with cutscenes and a battle system as well.

These are just a small fraction of games that you can enjoy in 2011. There are lots of RPG games that are available for you to play this year. If you're bored of generic and linear FPS games, give the RPG genre a try. Most good RPG's provide you with over 40 hours or more of gaming fun an offer aren't as linear as most FPS games. Do yourself a favor a play at least one RPG game released in 2011. You won't regret it.

If you're want to play old-school style of fantasy RPG games then this is the game for you. It may not be as flashy as Final Fantasy but the games still offer hours of fun.

Grubby's Commentary: A Blast From the Past

This is more of a personal post. Warcraft III is my favorite game of all time. I remember when it was released, my birthday. My brother brought home the collector's edition of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and we opened it and took turns going through the campaign. It took us about a week to get through it and I loved every aspect of it, the story, the gameplay, the combination of RPG and RTS -- simply put it was amazing. I soon discovered online play. This was my first real game into the adventure of online gaming (I played Diablo 2 for a few weeks before that). I was 11 years old, and I quickly fell in love with this game. Playing it nonstop for hours, just cramming in ladder games to build up my profile. As I played, the expansion pack was eventually released and added a whole new depth.

I eventually came across the pro gaming side of Warcraft III. I was and still am by no means up to par of these players, but my fascination for the game lead me to habitually watch their replays and streams. This cyber sport was almost like a real sport to me, I rooted and cheered for players and I was mesmerized by the skill and abilities these pro gamers possessed. One of these players is Grubby, Manuel Schenkhuizen, arguably the greatest Warcraft III player. He wasn't known for his insane micro, macro, or innovative strategies such as one of his opponents, Moon. He's an all-around great player who played smart. He made tactical decisions and calculations in real time throughout every game. Using risk-benefit analysis he conquered his opponents in such decisive manners that it was alluring. Being an Orc player like myself additionally drew me to how great of a player he was.

Grubby is recently recollecting upon his past games; he's providing commentary on some of his most exciting matches. In these commentaries, the audience gets a personal look at Grubby's thought process. We listen to how calculates his every move and observes his opponent for the best move. The inherent knowledge that he provides can be applied to nearly any competitive video game and is an overall useful fundamental knowledge. You can see how Grubby applies philosophical and economic theories to his gameplay.

Overall for any Warcraft III player out there, this will improve your abilities in how to assess and react to certain situations. It is a must to step up your game.

Best Games Online: Encouraging Kids to Help the Environment Through the Junkyard

Music, graphics and love for the environment are packaged in one fun game called The Junkyard. In this game, your goal is to put a piece of trash into the right bin by eliminating all the other junk in between. It may sound easy but once you reach level 5 and up, things will start heating up. To know more why this simple game is one of the best games for kids today, then read on about how to play this game and what this game teaches kids.

How it Works

Each player only have a set number of lives and a life is lost every time a trash is not placed into the correct bin. Hence, you have to create a strategy in order to maximize time and get to the next level. Ridge Racer 3D Game Review

Sometimes I wonder if Namco, in its own strange way, doesn't follow Herbert Hoover's old political slogan of "a chicken in every pot and a car in every backyard." After all, doesn't it seem like a given that at this point, with only a few exceptions, new hardware isn't new hardware unless there's a Ridge Racer to play on it? Which brings us to Ridge Racer 3D.

For over 15 years, Namco's familiar formula of drifts, powerslides, and big boosts has proven to be a mostly winning combo. And Ridge Racer 3D does little to deviate from that well-trodden path. Yes, it adds a new dynamic, but doesn't explore the new medium for much beyond the same sort of gimmickry that you often see film critics decry in 3D Hollywood fare.

At its core is a sound Ridge Racer game that feels roughly on par with 2005's PSP launch title. It's not quite as magical as that game, but it evokes the same the same streamlined and well-adapted spirit. And adaptation is really the operative term. RR3D carries certain strategic gameplay elements seen in RR titles that have come since RR PSP, such as RR7's reliance on slipstreaming to gain a lead on opposing cars.

Mechanically, the 3DS analog slider complements gameplay better than the PSP's tiny nub. It's bigger and more ergonomically sound for this style of game. But RR3D's namesake feature, while sometimes helpful, is mostly gimmicky. Most of the 3D effects are much less about providing a new spin on familiar gameplay and more for show and presentation (i.e. confetti-like paint chips flying off as you collide, dust kicking up during drifts, leaves hitting the screen). Other effects, such as shadows, feel super-pronounced. A little 3D goes a long way though. If you go through the game with the slider fully cranked, you will probably have to take a minute and stop racing so that your eyes don't strain too much.

RR3D falls short when it comes to multiplayer. There are no online features to speak of, and even the StreetPass feature merely allows you to collect other players' ghost data and rank them on your personal leaderboard. It's a blown chance to really show off what 3DS could do for a game like this, especially for a series which has had some sound online content in its more recent console iterations.

At its best, Ridge Racer 3D conjures up fond memories of 2005-era drifting and powersliding through exotic locales. At its worst, it squanders opportunities to really provide more than a few flying paint chips and ghost data races. Still, while it could have added up to a greater sum, its parts are still reasonably sound.

There are plenty of reasons for kids to keep playing Star Wars games online, with a plethora of characters, special Lego Star Wars games pieces and extra features to unlock. Lego and Star Wars is definitely a match made in marketing heaven.

Five Dynamite Useful Tips For Call of Duty Black Ops

If you're a fan of the Call of Duty franchise, then here are some great tips you can use. For some of us; the idea to Prestige doesn't sound like fun. I mean you worked so hard to unlock everything. Why would you want to start all over again? If you made it to level (50) fifty, now is the time to unlock all the upgrades for your perks. The setup I most like to use is assault rifles, so my tips and tricks are for this setup.

Custom Setups -
Your custom setups - Having a variety of different set ups is a great facet to have during game play. For example I don't always use a rocket launcher with my favorite set up. I like to carry the cross-bow, pistol or throwing knife. It's advisable to have a rocket launcher, equipped in a custom set up to destroy enemy attack choppers. You can easily switch between classes once you die, then you can load the set up with the rocket launcher and destroy the attack chopper. Remember to design the custom setups, suitable for the games you generally play. I would recommend having one fast setup, meaning utilize the light foot pro for perk 1, perk 2 is your option, and perk 3 I use marathon pro. This setup is fast moving, since you have unlimited sprint, carrying the throwing knife works well with this set up. Many times with this set up I'm always achieving the highest points or most kills, and the same time I do die a fair amount.

Different Gun Attachments -
Understanding different attachments for your guns. Some attachments are not necessary to have equipped at all times. For example if you are playing team death match, the grenade launcher attachment might not be the best for this game. Where if you are play say demolition, the grenade launcher is great choice for shooting enemies around the bomb site. Also some guns, may require the suppressor, the suppressor will reduce the kick a guns puts off when you are shooting it. Think the commando gun, and famas guns; I find these guns are way more accurate to shoot with the suppressor attachment in place.

Using Claymores -
Claymores if used properly will get you extra kills every round. The key here is to place them in areas not easily seen. If you see an enemy's claymore all you need to do is shoot the claymore and destroy it. Place your claymores, behind doors, around corners, and in the well traveled paths hidden in the bushes.

Understanding Different Perks -
Many of the games you play may require a certain perk to be used over another. For example if you are playing capture the flag, you have to sprint to get the enemy flag to your home base. It's advisable to carry light weight and marathon, so you can run fast and can sprint for longer durations. For some games, wearing the flank jacket is a nice selection, since you won't die right away from all the grenades being thrown at you. Then second chance perk is nice to, since you don't die and many times can kill the person who just killed you. This perk is such a love hate relationship. Another trick is using the reload perk with the grenade launcher; I find the grenade launcher without using this perk takes a long time to reload.

Care Packages -
All too many times people select a kill streak you don't normally achieve. If you generally only reach a max kill streak at five kills. By all means don't select the attack dogs, as your kill streak. Design the kill streaks based on your skill, and set reachable kill streaks. The spy planes and counter spy planes are not the sexy kill streaks, but at the same time they can be very useful.

Take the time to understand how you play, and how good you truly are. Then design you load outs for your skill level. The idea is to get lots of kills and points, so you can unlock levels and guns.
