Create for the Wii
Release Date: November 16, 2010
Publisher: EA
ESRB Rating: Everyone
An important step in the evolution of video games was the introduction of many secret objectives, bonus points, extra quests and various other missions tangential to the main story. Yet even today what you do and see is still seriously hampered by the vision of the game's creator. There just plain isn't enough variety.
EA's Create is aiming to change this. You are the creator. But you're not creating without a purpose; there are challenges for you to work through. There are 14 differently themed levels with 10 challenges each. Challenges come in two forms: Object Challenges and Contraption-o-matic. The objective challenges involve using as few objects as possible to achieve some goal, such as getting a car over a gap or putting something through a hoop using helium balloons. These are fairly easy and feel somewhat limited because you can only use the objects that they let you use. And you don't want to use many of them to begin with, so you're not creating anything too elaborate. The Contraption-o-matic challenges are much more, well, challenging. And you have much more freedom when it comes to using parts. You can build catapults, conveyor belts, elevators, and other strange machines. Some methods will be better than others when it comes to achieving your goal, so don't get too excited.
As you beat more and more challenges, you will unlock not only objects for use but also other levels that have new objects to use and themes (like an amusement park or a space station). You also have the option to freely decorate each level using any and all of the objects you've unlock. This is, unfortunately, the only truly free way to play Create. As far as a puzzle game goes, it's excellent. There is plenty of critical thinking involved with the later levels. Dozens of attempts become the norm as you get deeper into the game. And, of course, you have more things to use.
But as an innovation, Create is lacking. Yes, you can place objects and textures anywhere you like and make complex machines, but ultimately the list of available objects is not at all up to you. You're not exactly creating the scene, it's more like you're decorating it. And what's worse is that there is no way of interacting with the environment other than hitting the play button. Create is a step in the right direction, but not a big enough one. While the puzzles are challenging, the graphics are fun, and the music is cheerful, the features are still lacking.

5 Awesome Features of the Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel
The Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel is the official Grand Turismo 5 racing wheel. It is packed with many great features which make your PlayStation and PC racing games come to life! Here are a couple of things you will get from this great racing wheel (it comes with a 1-year limited hardware warranty):
Force Feedback
The force feedback on this wheel is incredibly precise. It accurately reflects all the action taking place in the game. You can feel every inch of the road, every bump, crash, spin and collision. Traction loss, spin outs and loss of car control are amazingly life like. The force feedback can be adjusted if you prefer a less hectic ride.
The Wheel
The racing wheel has 900 degree wheel rotation and it auto centers itself as you come out of a turn just like a real car. It has an 11-inch rubber overmold so you won't experience any slipping even after a long racing session.
24-Position Adjustment Dial
You can fine-tune many settings such as power steering force, brake balance ratio between front and back, traction control etc. All these adjustments can be made on the fly without having to pause the game.
System Compatibility
One of the things that we love about the Driving Force GT racing wheel is that it is fully compatible with both your PC and both PlayStation2 and Playstation3. If you would like to use it with your PC this is what you will need.

The Xbox 360 Kinect Review
Kinect? Great! I have read countless reviews on the Xbox 360 Kinect. And the more I read, the closer I was getting to my pre-order. Most of the reviews complained about delays, or space requirement, or that the games were just regurgitated Wii games, and how each of name of the game was never developed.
After reading some of the preliminary assessments, I was intrigued enough that I pre-ordered almost immediately. Being a gadget geek, I ordered this set, despite already a Xbox360. I wanted a bigger hard drive, silence in the new console (!!!!!), and integrated wireless. The new design is pretty sweet too. Overall a great console. I recommend the upgrade.
Unplugged the old Xbox360, plugged in the power supply to the new 360, plugged in the HDMI cable (no more adapter required), plugged in the digital audio cable set the Kinect under my tv, plugged it into the Xbox, turned it on and it's go time. A few minutes of setup was all it took, setting up the wireless connection, entering your Xbox Live info, and a few download updates.
I was playing an adventure game that comes in the box. Wii-like? Yes. Fun? Much! It can track your movements - hands, head, arms, legs, hips, everything - is just incredible. Can detect when a driver moves from side to side or front to back, or crouching or jumping while moving the arm itself.
Many commentators have complained about the delays, which means it takes a bit of time to detect their movements and put them on the screen. Is there a delay? Yes, as measured in fractions of a second. Is it sensible? Yes, but only if specifically focusing on it. But it is not apparent during the actual game, since we are concentrating on the game And as with the Wii, quickly learn to compensate for that split second difference. It is totally irrelevant!
There is an infrared replication of yourself on the screen. The shape of my body was accurate (unfortunately) and has even taken the logo on the shirt I was wearing. There are many exercises you can do and you follow with an instructor. You need to be synchronized with instructor to earn points and advance to higher levels and KINECT did an excellent job following your every move and compare it with the instructor. Not spreading your feet far enough apart? He will tell you. Do not keep the pace? He will tell you. It's so much more intense than anything I played on the Wii and I can now see how your form instead of going to the gym. It is really amazing. KINECT is the future of games.

Need the Best Game Backup Software Out There?
You wouldn't believe it if you weren't here. You're shooting up zombies, solving puzzles, saving the day, and nobody can stop you.
Well, almost nobody.
Your system just froze. OH $&@*! Yup, you can handle flesh eating zombies, and guns up the wazoo...but the one thing "Resident Evil", and are on a winning streak like you wouldn't believe. Heck, you didn't count on was this. You just lost ALL your progress, and have to start at the beginning....again! A single tear streams down your face.
O.K. So you are a mad-man today. You're playing your favorite game of all time Say it ain't so! Sorry, but it is. I know. We've all been there. It's horrible to be in the middle of the game of your LIFE, only have it go KABOOM right in front of you. If only you used a game backup software to backup your game.
You know you should have had one in place, but you just didn't think you would need it. Maybe you thought it would cost too much, and you didn't want to fork out any cash right now.
Well, look what happened. Are you happy now? But it's okay. You can still get a game backup software to keep this from ever happening again. But where can you find a great backup software review?
There are a few things to look for when picking out the best game backup software and software review. They are:
1. Great Price!
O.K. If you are anything like me, you want the biggest bang for your buck. So be sure to find a game backup software that is a great deal. Don't forget that you get what you pay for, so you may have to pony up a little extra dough to get the BEST. But isn't your game fun worth it? Plus, the peace of mind is worth more than gold.
2. Super Reliable!
What good is buying a great game backup software if it doesn't work, right? No good, that's what. You should do a thorough software review, and be sure to find a game backup software that works, and works every time. Why? Because you never know when you may need it. Look at past software reviewers and users to find out just how reliable (or unreliable) a system may be.
3. Easy to Use! (DUH!)
If it's too hard to use, you won't use it will you? I don't blame you. So be sure the system you are buying will be super easy to use. You have better things to do with your time that fiddle around with settings, or keeping an eye on your new software. It should be keeping an eye on you!
So there you have it. Those are the top 3 things to look for in a software review when picking out the best backup system for your games.
